The guys are doing great.   They actually look for each other in the morning now and we left them both in the €śapartment €ť for a quick trip to the store today.   Everyone was calm when we returned!   We did leave the kitty condo in there to be safe.   Sox has found several resting and perching places and is reluctantly learning that my grand piano will not be one of them.   We do leave all window coverings pulled up about 6 inches now so that he can engage in his favorite activity of watching the outside.   The best news is that Sox has started to tease Finn! Tail twitching in a dog's face is nearly irresistible it seems but when Finn starts to chase we all say his name, he stops and the cat escapes to perch high with a smile on his face.   They take turns initiating chase games that are still pretty short-lived and they seem to like hanging out in the same room.   Sox is now sleeping comfortably with Dan and I at night.   He is just a great cat and is fitting in nicely.

Sox and Finn are doing great - really good, head-rubbing buddies who look for each other to hang out with!   Finn is still trying to play with Sox like he was a puppy instead of a cat but Sox about has him trained.   Also, Sox now has two neighborhood friends - a cockapoo and a rotwiler, who come to stay when their people are out of town.   Fortunately, both of those dogs were young puppies when they started coming over and Sox trained them easily!   He is such a great cat - assertive but cooperative and increasingly affectionate.   He's getting so he likes to hang out with the kid's friends, too.
