Here's an update on Karma. She has now been with us for 3 weeks and it's hard to believe: she's melded into the family so well that it's like we've always had her. She and Abby are buddies; they play well and sleep well, both independently and together. Karma's first vet visit went well. We were asked to restrict some calories and she's already lost some weight. Our first visit to the dog park last weekend was successful. Karma really does draw a LOT of attention because of her unique looks. Both dogs played well, although they intelligently took their time getting involved in activities. They both regularly came over to claim us while they explored. Karma is a love. We wasted money on a dog bed that she's never used: why sleep there when there are people and another dog to snuggle with on comfy people beds? I work long hours, but Karma is just a step behind Abby when they run to greet me when I get home. I tend to add nicknames to dog names: Abby became Abby Road; Karma also answers to Karma Korn. Karma is an awesome dog and seems very content: sleeps, exercises, eats, and plays well. Thank you for your part in completing our dog family: we share the excellent experience with everyone who says "Where did you get that dog?" We feel like it is our karma to get Karma.
