Welcome to our Dog Adoption Center! At any one time
RESCUE has between 40 and 60 dogs in our "system". Our volunteers rescue these dogs from the
euthanasia list at our local animal care and control shelters. Most commonly these dogs have been
abandoned by their owners, or picked up/turned in as strays. Once we rescue a dog, he or she stays with us
until we find it a permanent loving home.
While with us, our dogs are housed either in our
network of fabulous foster homes, or are boarded with one of our veterinary partners. All of our dogs are
spayed or neutered and have received their 4 in 1 and rabies vaccinations.
In 2002, RESCUE instituted what we call our
MatchMaker Adoption Process which focuses on making lifetime matches between
families/individuals and our animals. If you find a dog you are interested in, just click on our
MatchMaker link to see how our process works and to submit a
MatchMaker Information Form. If we don't currently have a dog that seems
just right, you can still begin the adoption process. Considering we have many adoptions every month, we always
have new dogs for you to consider.

At the beginning of each month, we will call your attention to one
of the many wonderful dogs available for adoption. Although it's nearly impossible for us to choose
a favorite, we hope you enjoy meeting our Spotlighted Dog!

animals, and our adoption process, be sure to visit our FAQs. For some great

RESCUE charges every adopter a services fee to
help offset the investment we have already made in each dog we rescue. These costs include: spaying or
neutering, vaccinations, as well as boarding and other medical costs. Some of our animals require medical
care far above and beyond the norm. In the case of our dogs, our services fee also includes the cost of
your dog license. While our minimum services fee for dogs is $12500, please know that any
amount you can contribute in excess of that minimum is much appreciated and fully tax-deductible.
